Olvel played X3: Terran Conflict

I tried to build my first complex in X3:TC last night... What a mess!

I built a Solar Power Plant a few days ago, to try to improve my relations with a couple races... But that didn't do as much as I hoped it would. It helped my relations, but was slowly losing me money. So I decided to try my hand at Space Fuel.

I tried to put together a self-sufficient Space Fuel complex out in an Unknown Sector... But I really had no idea what I was doing.

I plopped down about 20 stations, started joining them with Complex Construction Kits, and wound up with a fantastic mess. Station tubes everywhere.

When all was said and done, I had two separate complexes that were too far apart to be connected into one complex.

I gave up, made sure I had a previous save to revert to, and shut it all down for the night.

I've posted on the X3:TC forums today looking for help... Maybe they can steer me in the right direction.
