Olvel played Alien Swarm

Tried to play some Alien Swarm yesterday...

I'm honestly not sure how games are hosted. If it's peer to peer, or dedicated servers, or a mix of both, or what. But I had one hell of a time getting into a game. I kept timing out and failing to connect. Over and over again. Very frustrating.

Then I got into a game, and just moments later somebody kicked me.

I finally got into a game, and things were going relatively well... Was having a good time shooting aliens and making my way through the map... And then everything froze.

I don't know if it was a network issue, or if my video card was unhappy, or what. Maybe the game's host was having issues. Maybe it was my ISP. Whatever.

After a few moments of a frozen screen and looping sound I was dropped back at the main menu.

All things considered, a very frustrating experience.
